Elisabeth has been working in the fitness industry as a personal trainer and group fitness instructor for the past four years. Originally from Westchester County, she received a B.A. in Communications from the University of Tampa. While attending college, she discovered her passion for fitness and now holds certifications through NASM, PPSC, and Parisi Speed School. 

In addition to spending time in the gym, she works full-time as a middle school paraprofessional and is working towards her master’s at Manhattanville College. Elisabeth specializes in strength training and high-intensity workouts. She truly loves to help people get closer to their goals and live healthier lives. From her classes, you can expect fun music, hard work, and a great sweat!

Emily, also known as “Ms. Em,” is a dedicated Certified Yoga Instructor. Her yoga journey began as a complement to her dance and music studies, focusing on breath work, stretching, and meditation. She obtained her 200-hour Yoga Certification in April 2016 after immersive training at The International Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centre Ashram. Living there, she fully embraced the Yogic lifestyle, practicing Hatha Yoga, Meditation, Chanting, Karma Yoga, and committed Self-Study.

Since her return, Ms. Em teaches Siv Ananda-inspired Hatha Yoga, characterized by a gentle, supportive, and inspiring approach. Her instruction emphasizes strong foundational poses (Asanas), leading to deep relaxation and a connection to Prana, the “Vital Life Force.” She welcomes students of all levels, from beginners to advanced practitioners, to experience her class and discover their inner “Yogi.” Ms. Em is excited to share the joy of yoga and looks forward to practicing with you on the mat!

Emma Nygard is a Yoga/Fitness Group + Private Trainer. She first gained interest in sports when she was 6 years old. This interest quickly developed into a passion, and since then she has been dedicated to understanding how movement affects the mind and body. She started with softball and track, and after 10 years of running, she discovered yoga, which gave her that same runner’s high without the achy pain. She took this feeling of calmness, strength, and solitude with integrity and ran with it to her first Yoga Teacher Training in 2014. 

The journey of healing mind and body through conscious motion and breath has not only helped her clients in their personal growth but also herself in the field as a healer. She developed a strong specialized background in Hot Yoga, HIIT, and Bodyweight Training. She is more than here to just move your bodies and achieve your fitness goals, but also to watch you grow in your own individual self-culture.

Hariff Rosado was introduced to sports at a young age and stayed active throughout his childhood. He was put into boxing at the of age 10 and quickly adapted. His competitive drive and love for the sport created a champion! Competing from ages 11-17, winning Junior Metros, Junior Olympics and the
Long Island championship.

Hariff’s long-time lifestyle of sport transitioned into an overall love for fitness. Continuously educating himself, using his own experience and the tools he has learned to help others reach their goals.

Jaena, a Fitness Instructor/Personal Trainer, holds certifications from NASM, ACE, MES, SBT Coach, Pre/Post Natal, and Polestar Pilates, bringing over 29 years of Fitness Industry experience. She was a nationally ranked powerlifter and six-time women’s bodybuilding champion, even serving as Athleta Scarsdale’s Sponsored Athlete in 2014.

Her credentials encompass NASM, A.C.E., Group Fitness Instruction, Personal Training, and Pilates Instruction (Polestar Pilates), along with specialization in Medical Exercise, Active Isolated Stretching, and Pre & Post Natal Exercise. With a teaching background at Lifetime Fitness in Harrison, N.Y., Equinox, and New York Sports Club, Jaena offers services including Strength Training, Sports Conditioning, Pilates Mat, and SBT (Suspension Bodyweight Training).

Outside her fitness career, Jaena’s dedication extends to community service. She volunteered at Caritas Food Pantry, organized food drives with students, and played Santa Claus for underprivileged children annually for 25 years. She continues her philanthropy through Feeding Westchester and her charity Denim’s Army, named after her puppy.

Joe is a NASM-certified personal trainer with a track record dating back to 2016. But his journey in the world of fitness began long before that. For over two decades, he’s been honing his skills in calisthenics. He’s spent more than 15 years mastering martial arts and has dedicated over 8 years to bodybuilding. Not to mention, he’s been making a name for himself as a published fitness model for the past year. Joe has taken the knowledge he’s gained and used it to help countless people reach their fitness goals and feel more confident about their bodies.

Alongside this, he also works full-time designing and assisting in rehabilitation exercises for patients undergoing physical therapy. His main goal is all about teaching you the ropes, not just giving you a quick fix. When it comes to achieving your health and fitness aspirations, he’s committed to working safely and diligently, ensuring you get to where you want or need to be.

Junise grew up participating in various activities throughout her adolescence, including Modern, Jazz, and Theater Dance. In high school, she branched into track and field. Her passion for health and fitness continued in college, where she earned a degree in Exercise Science and Psychology. Junise worked as a Physical Therapy Aide, Group Fitness Instructor, and Personal Trainer throughout her college years. 

Soon after graduating, she began taking Reformer Pilates and developed a passion for how these movements increase strength and mobility. Her classes challenge participants with a blend of classical and modern techniques.

Manny is a qualified Golf Instructor here at HYDROGEN FITNESS. Before joining the team here, Manny’s passion for golf led him to start playing golf and work in the golf industry at the young age of twelve. He proceeded to get a golf scholarship and graduate with his bachelor’s from Purchase College. He played college golf tournaments and eventually became the golf coach for Purchase College.

Currently, Manny works with GOLFTEC -which uses the most innovative technology -to elevate any golfer’s game. Manny is passionate about teaching golf to others! Outside of Hydrogen Fitness, Manny enjoys being a volunteer firefighter for Port Chester, fishing, pickleball, and helping people find their forever home as a realtor.

With 20+ years in the Fitness and Wellness industry Maura is committed to remaining current and utilizing the tried and true in the world of movement, creating the best possible experience.

Maura believes there is an athlete in all of us. Her trained eye ensures each member receives personal attention, motivation and inspiration ensuring the best possible workout for each members’ body. Skylar is a NASM-certified personal trainer, as well as the Active Director of Personal Training for Hydrogen Fitness. While his main focus is on building his team of trainers and supporting them with their clients, he also takes on private clients.

With a background in High-Intensity Training (NOT HIIT), Skylar mainly focuses on building strong, healthy, muscles while using functional movement patterns to ensure his clients feel strong, and more importantly, stay safe while working out. He is comfortable working with clients ranging anywhere from teenagers to seniors and special populations. When he is not at the gym, you can find him outdoors hiking, surfing, skiing, or training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

Meet Terry Smith, a passionate spin instructor with over 10 years of experience in the fitness industry. Terry began her fitness journey teaching Zumba and within the last 5 years, has developed a passion for Spin. 

Terry aims to foster a welcoming and community-driven environment in her spin classes. She teaches classes that are for everyone, no matter their fitness level, pushing you to go beyond your comfort zone in a safe and fun atmosphere. Off the spin bike, Terry is a mom, wife and a passionate rescue-dog owner.

Willie is a certified personal trainer and competitive athlete who has been a member of the USA Powerlifting Federation for the past 6 years. Without the guidance of a trainer, he managed to shed over 90 lbs and partake in numerous powerlifting and strength sports events. Balancing roles as a trainer and competitive athlete, his focus lies in continual advancement and the attainment of individual aspirations.
